The Soul & Law Atlas
The Soul&Law Atlas is an evolving global map highlighting countries where Restorative Justice, Therapeutic Jurisprudence, and Trauma-Informed Law have been formally integrated at the legislative or institutional level. This includes practices embedded within governmental policies, judicial systems, educational institutions, and research centers.

Inclusion Criteria: Countries are included based on evidence-based documentation from academic publications, legislative records, or official institutional reports demonstrating:
— Legislative and policy frameworks;
— Judicial programs or court initiatives;
— State or municipal restorative justice programs;
— University courses or academic research centers formally addressing these topics.
Why Does This Matter? The Atlas serves as a visual research tool, providing an overview of how human-centered justice practices are being formally implemented across diverse jurisdictions. It is not a ranking, but a living knowledge base designed for researchers, educators, students, and practitioners invested in the advancement of restorative and therapeutic legal frameworks.
Through this Atlas, we aim to foster global dialogue on justice reform and provide a structured resource that makes verified implementations visible and accessible to a wider academic and professional audience. It is a tool for learning, collaboration, and collective growth in the pursuit of justice that heals rather than harms.
